Vietnamese Foodies’ Nourishing Iftar Returns This Ramadan

Vietnamese Foodies, the award-winning, family-owned home of authentic Vietnamese cuisine is celebrating family and food this Ramadan with a healthy yet nourishing 4-course Iftar special.

Vietnamese Foodies, the award-winning, family-owned home of authentic Vietnamese cuisine is celebrating family and food this Ramadan with a healthy yet nourishing 4-course Iftar special.  

Available for dine-in at Vietnamese Foodies’ JLT, Downtown Dubai, Nakheel Mall and Dubai Hills Mall or through delivery to over 60 Dubai neighbourhoods, the Viet-Iftar highlights the fresh, flavourful and filling nature of Vietnamese cuisine for just AED 109 (inclusive of VAT) per person. 

Offering up to six choices of signature South Vietnamese dishes across each course: appetiser, soup, salad and main, the menu caters to a variety of tastes and preferences. Foodies will also be given the option to upgrade their main course with a selection of Chef’s Signature dishes.  Each dine-in or delivery order also includes a special sweet  treat, homemade marshmallow and vanilla Nougat. 

With four out Vietnamese Foodies’ now five locations offering the Viet-Iftar special, this year will be the family-owned restaurants largest Ramadan celebration to date. 

“As a family-owned restaurant, we are once again honoured to serve those observing Ramadan as they break fast with family and friends. With our new Dubai Hills Mall location, we are now able to share a menu of our most loved dishes with more people than ever before,” said Vietnamese Foodies Founder & Executive Chef, Lily Hoa Nguyen. 

On the menu*, which includes dairy- and gluten-free, paleo and vegan choices are six savoury starters including Grilled Chicken Satay, Vegan Spring Rolls, Crispy Coconut Prawns with Sweet Chilli Sauce and Dynamite Shrimp. Three crisp and fresh salad choices include Green Papaya & Prawn Salad and Beef Salad with Tamarind Dressing.  Included in the hearty soup course are the popular Beef Brisket Pho as well as Vegan Pho and Tom Yam Soup. For  the mains, there are six mouth-watering dishes to choose from including Pho Tron, a flat rice noodle dish with special sauce and 5 spice grilled chicken; Vegan Curry; as well as Sichuan Chicken Stir Fry with Dates served with Jasmine Rice.

Diners will also have the option to upgrade their main with one of four choices from Chef Lily’s Signature Menu including Atlantic Baked Salmon (+14 Dhs),  Slow Cooked Beef with Dates served with Jasmine Rice (+10 DHS) Lemongrass Chicken & Rice (+10 Dhs), or Aromatic Roasted  Duck with Bao Buns (+24Dhs) . 

To complete the Iftar is homemade Marshmallow and Vanilla Nougat, made with marshmallow raisin, almond honey, cashew walnut, dates and pistachio, gifted with each order, dine-in or delivery. 

Vietnamese Foodies’ Viet-Iftar will be available daily from Wednesday, 22nd of March until Friday, 21st of April, 2023, during opening hours at the restaurant’s Dubai HIlls Mall, Nakheel Mall, JLT and Downtown Dubai locations. The Viet-Iftar is also available daily for delivery with delivery to over 60 Dubai neighbourhoods through the restaurant’s website www.vietnamesefoodies.com or via Deliveroo. 

Throughout Ramadan, the restaurant’s regular menu will be available to order for delivery or dine-in between 11:30am to 10:00pm at the Dubai Hills Mall,  Nakheel Mall, JLT and Downtown locations. Vietnamese Foodies location at the Time Out Market Dubai will be open daily with a menu of some of the award-winning restaurants’ most popular Southern Vietnamese dishes.
