Vietnamese Foodies Offers Free, Fun & Interactive Workshops

Cooking classes to take place November to April at Family-Owned Restaurant’s Dubai Hills Mall, Burj Vista & Nakheel Mall branches.

Vietnamese Foodies, the award-winning home of fresh, healthy, and affordable Vietnamese cuisine in Dubai are announcing a series of free, fun & interactive cooking classes that allow Dubai-based foodies to connect with Vietnamese cuisine and culture. 

Starting today, 21 November and running until April, the family-owned eatery will be offering a series of hands-on free monthly workshops for aspiring Vietnamese foodies at the restaurant’s Nakheel Mall, Burj Vista and Dubai Hills Mall branches. The workshops will provide hand-on instruction with Vietnamese Foodies Chefs and are free and open to adults and teens on select dates from November through to April: 

  • November 21-23 from 3:30pm – Chicken & Vegan Spring Rolls
  • December 19-21  from 3:30pm- Chicken Satay Wraps & Portobello Wraps 
  • January 23-25  from 3:30pm- Cheung Feung & Seafood Ravioli
  • February 20-23  from 3:30pm- Vietnamese Egg Coffee 
  • March 20-23  from 3:30pm- Duck Sausages 
  • April 24-26  from 3:30pm- Lemongrass Prawns and Vegan Crispy Tofu Wraps

November 21-23, from 3:30pm – Chicken & Vegan Spring Rolls Workshop 

In this workshop, attendees will get hands-on experience and learn from Vietnamese Foodies’ chefs how to mix vegan & chicken fillings for crispy spring rolls, how to roll and shape the rolls, how to fry them and present them for guests at home. They’ll also get to enjoy them!

December 19-21 from 3:30pm Chicken Satay Wraps & Portobello Wraps Workshop 

In this workshop, attendees will learn how to prepare marinade for chicken satay and portobello wraps, how to  properly marinade, make the skewers and grill chicken satay. They will learn how to make lettuce wraps and dipping sauce for the wraps. As with all workshops, attendees will also enjoy the fruits of their labour. 

Vietnamese Fodies now has five locations across Dubai including JLT, Downtown Dubai, Time Out Market Dubai, Nakheel Mall and Dubai Hills Mall.  All Vietnamese Foodies dishes, at all locations, are inspired by the culinary diversity of the Vietnamese capital, Ho Chi Minh City, and are lovingly prepared using the freshest ingredients, with most dishes cooked in broth or water instead of oil. Guests will be spoilt for choice, thanks to the fresh and delicious new menu filled with a variety of affordable, naturally healthy, keto, paleo, vegan, vegetarian, dairy- and gluten-free options.
