Atraumatic tooth extraction and piezotome application for GP’s
Join this dental hands-on course hosted by Prof Dr Dr Angelo Troedhan from Austria in September.
The workshop will start with a short basic revision of current knowledge of bone-healing, bone-regeneration, and osseointegration, followed by a detailed introduction to Piezotome-technology and a comparison of the physical and biological impact when drills and piezoelectric devices are used to remove teeth and to cut bone.
The second part of the workshop then will be dedicated to the training of the participants in newly developed minimal invasive piezotome-surgical procedures for atraumatic tooth extractions and their advantages for both the surgeon and patients with video demonstrations of basic and advanced Piezotome-surgical techniques.
👉🏻Understand and apply the physiological principles of bone-healing in daily practice for improved and more predictable treatment outcomes
👉🏻Understand the significant differences between rotary instruments and Piezotome-surgical instruments when used in the GP-dentists everyday surgical procedures
👉🏻How to correctly apply minimal invasive Piezotome-surgical protocols in the GP-dentists everyday treatment routine
👉🏻To understand how You and Your patients will benefit from Piezotome-surgery
👉🏻How to start and apply entry-level and intermediate-level procedures for bone augmentation (sinus lift, crest-split)
